Though not that big of a leap with Apple’s latest iPhone, (compared to it’s predecessor) The iPhone 4S hides what sets it apart from the iPhone 4.

I wasn’t all for upgrading as I didn’t see a huge difference between the two when it was first announced. However, I noticed I was eligible for an upgrade with AT&T (even though I had upgraded only 12 months prior) so I decided to play my cards with eBay and see if I could get anything close to the price of an upgrade from my old phone.
Not only did I break even but I actually made a small profit. I had a friend preorder it. and the old one sold just a couple of days before the new one arrived.

The 4S is significantly faster than it’s predecessor .
It is especially noticed when using the camera app. Pictures are saved quicker (most noticeable when HDR is enabled.)
Siri is actually more useful than I had expected.

Overall, the 4S superseded my expectations. Not just “Something to hold on to while we wait for the next big thing”
